CityScope Net is now hosting a website called 281DeadBug.com for Tom Rasberry, who is known for discovering the Crazy Rasberry Ants, named after him. He discovered them in 2002 in an industrial area in Pasadena, Texas. The ants have spread to many counties and are spreading at an alarming rate. Tom has been working with Texas A&M and TDA to come up with solutions for this severe problem. There is no state or federal funding for the research. So far, it has been funded by industry, TAMU and Tom Rasberry with Rasberry's Pest Professionals.
